ago. My dad, Richard Brown was a great fan as well. I came across an old photo today that he
had taken many years ago. It had Joel Ray, The Sharpe Twins, Charlie and I think Ronnie and
another female entertain whose name escapes me now. It sure brought back some precious
memories.

the first day. My dad, Boogie Sherrard, was the lead guitarist there from about 1962-1975. Both
my sister Susie and I, were fortunate to be able to appear on the Jamboree as the Sherrard
Sisters back then. There are so many memories involving that wonderful place. I am happy to

comments = I was just checking in to see if Joel Ray is still at the Lincoln Jamboree.We haven't
been down to see him for a few years.Getting older makes the trip a little harder to make.We
always enjoyed coming down to spend a night, so we could enjoy the show. We miss the shows
and are thinking about coming when it gets warmer.We haven't forgotten Joel Ray's hospitality &
good music at the Jamboree.

comments = Don't get down to Hodgenville very often but when I do I always take in the Lincoln
Jamboree. In all the times I have been there, I always experienced a first class show and this
past weekend was no different. Enjoyed the Gospel singers outside also. A show and meal
