Using the end of a vacuum cleaner cord as her microphone, Heidi started singing when she started talking. As a child, she always dreamed of being famous, but singing at the Lincoln Jamboree in Hodgenville, Ky. every Saturday night as a regular for the last nine years has been just enough to get that stardom urge out of her system. “Singing is a big part of my life, but my husband and children are my life.” Heidi has received various awards and accolades over the last few years including being crowned the 1997 Fiddler’s Festival Queen. Just recently, Heidi was also chosen as the 2005 Heartland Idol. She is a graduate from Western Kentucky University and is currently employed at South Central Bank in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. |
